Argentina is made up of four different regions. They are the Andes Mountains, the North, the Pampas, and Patagonia. The Andes Mountains have the tallest mountain in South America. The mountain is called Aconcagua, it is 22,831 feet tall. The Pampas region is grass covered plains. Patagonia is like a set of rock stairs. In the North there are two sections, the Gran Chaco (dry lowlands) and Mesopotamia, (the land between two rivers) with Iguazu Falls. Argentina is about three tenths the size of the United States.The area is 1,056,641 sq miles
